Presidents Cup Saturday scores, live updates: U.S. chips away at International Team lead ahead of afternoon foursomes

The U.S. team made progress during Saturday's Presidents Cup morning four-ball matches at Medinah Country Club in Chicago.

Heading into the weekend down 7-3 to the International team , the pairings of Scottie Scheffler/Sam Burns and Chris Gotterup/Cameron Young each won their respective matches to put valuable points on the board for the Americans. Justin Thomas and Jackson Koivun managed to take half a point against Min Wood Lee and Sungjae Im.

The International team of Tom Kim and Si Woo Kim improved to 3-0 together this week after besting Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark.

The International team remains up on the U.S. with an 8.5 to 5.5 lead heading into afternoon foursomes.

On Sunday, all 24 golfers will square off in singles matches. The first team to 15.5 points wins, though the International team only needs 7 points with two sessions to go.
