TGL announced each of the seven teams for its 2027 seasons, with each roster growing from four to five golfers.

Tiger Woods (Jupiter Links GC), Rory McIlroy (Boston Common Golf) and Cameron Young (New York GC) are among the returnees. Brooks Koepka, Si Woo Kim and Jackson Koivun will play starring roles on the expansion Motor City GC.

Front Office Sports' David Rumsey noted Xander Schauffele, Kevin Kisner, Adam Scott, and Lucas Glover won't take part after competing in 2026.

Defending champion Los Angeles GC is running it back with Collin Morikawa, Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood and Sahith Theegala. The quartet combined to beat Jupiter Links GC 2-0 in the TGL Finals Series.

Former Virginia standout Ben James rounds out the team. A first-team All-American, he finished atop the PGA Tour University standings for the 2025-26 season to earn a PGA Tour card.

Once again, the runners-up are likely to garner the most fascination in TGL.

Woods missed nearly the entire 2026 season and only represented Jupiter Links in the Finals Series. Injuries and personal issues have significantly limited how much the 15-time champion has competed in recent years.

Even at this stage of his career, Woods remains one of the biggest names in golf. Fans will be eager to see how much he appears in TGL and what it could mean for any larger comeback.

In the case of James and Koivun, TGL will be a preview of what to expect ahead of their first full seasons on the tour.

Koivun turned pro ahead of the John Deere Classic in July. He was victorious in just his third start at the 3M Open and went on to represent the United States as it won the Presidents Cup.
