“They Gonna Fire Him”: Shannon Sharpe Predicts Harsh Punishment for Stadium Worker Who Called Dak Prescott “Embarrassing”

The Dallas Cowboys were beaten 24-16 in their clash against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday, but it wasn't just the problems on the field that needed tackling. An incident off the field starring Dak Prescott has drawn a lot of attention.

Dak Prescott, who was jeered by fans after a tough outing, was walking in the back before an AT&T Stadium employee appeared to use the word "embarrassing". The incident went viral online, but analyst Shannon Sharpe had some tough predictions to make for the employee.

"That gonna cost a better job. You know they gonna fire him", Shannon Sharpe said about the employee.

"He probably making a minimum, he probably making $10-12 an hour…them fans they get so invested man, they feel they out there playing."

Dak Prescott Reacted to the Incident Later

Dak Prescott addressed the incident in front of media after the game, laying down his version of what happened.

"When he said it, I just happened to look at him, and at that point, he looked away," Prescott said. "And when I turned my head back, he said something else.

"And so that's the part that, just as a man or as just a person, feel free to speak your mind — just speak it. Don't cower away from the reaction that you're going to get.

"And so, if you're saying it's embarrassing, say it's embarrassing," he continued. "If you're saying it to me, then say it to me. Don't go back on it. So that's all that was, and hate that it's even being talked about, to be honest with you."

Prescott and the Cowboys will be back in action on Oct. 18 against the Green Bay Packers.
