GLEN ALLEN, Virginia – Nine PGA Tour cards are still up for grabs entering this week's Korn Ferry Tour Championship, which begins Thursday at The Federal Golf Club, a new addition to the KFT Finals rota.
These players have already clinched their 2027 PGA Tour cards.
Nos. 11-17 are likely safe, though none of these guys have officially been declared #TourBound.
What players outside the top 20 need to do this week to have a chance at leaving the Richmond area with a PGA Tour card.
Nos. 43-60 require a victory to have a chance to move into top 20.
No. Fifty-nine of the 60 qualified players will tee it up. Ben Kohles, who sits No. 19 in points, is also ranked No. 84 in FedExCup points, so he's been competing of late on the PGA Tour, including this week's Baycurrent Classic in Japan. That's good news for players outside the top 20, as Kohles is less than 20 points clear of No. 21 Yuta Sugiura.
Yes. Golf Channel will broadcast all four rounds. The telecasts for Thursday and Friday will air 3-5 p.m. ET, while Saturday and Sunday will have 1-4 p.m. ET windows. The card ceremony will take place on Sunday upon the conclusion of play.
WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO FINISH OUTSIDE TOP 20?
By virtue of qualifying for this week's Korn Ferry Tour Championship, players are guaranteed full KFT status for 2027, plus those top 60 players who don't finish in the top 20 will also get into the final stage of PGA Tour Q-School, where five more PGA Tour cards will be awarded to top finishers.
