Green Bay-area high school sports results for Thursday, Sept. 10

High school volleyball, soccer, cross-country, golf and tennis teams were in action.

CLINTONVILLE - The Spartans defeated the Truckers 25-14, 25-15, 25-13 to improve to 10-7 overall and 2-0 in the North Eastern Conference.

Luxemburg-Casco was led by Claire Schlies with 16 assists and six digs; Aubrey Frey with 15 kills, six digs and five aces; Stella Schleis with 11 assists; and Cayden Hruska with six digs and six aces.

"Credit to Clintonville, they were scrappy and pushed us in the first set and really all night," Luxemburg-Casco coach Jeff Frey said. "Proud of our girls to not get frustrated and stay the course. It's always great to get a win on the road."

OCONTO FALLS - The Panthers improved to 7-4 overall and 1-0 in the North Eastern Conference with a 25-11, 25-13, 25-18 win over the Comets.

Izzy Otto had 35 assists and 11 digs for Oconto Falls. Lucy Ripley had 10 kills and four aces, Ella Jahnke had eight kills and Brylee Gorman finished with seven kills and four block kills.

GREEN BAY - The Blazers defeated the Clippers 25-19, 25-23, 25-13 to go to 2-0 in the Packerland Conference and 9-2 overall.

NEW Lutheran was led by Kiley Dhein with 11 kills and 12 digs, Olivia Kirchner with 30 assists, Paige Loock with 11 kills and 11 digs, and Hailey Monfre with 11 kills.

GREEN BAY - The Ships dropped the first set to the Tritons and then won the next three to take the Fox River Classic Conference match by scores of 24-26, 25-23, 25-15, 25-19.

PESHTIGO - The Pioneers defeated the Bulldogs 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.

DENMARK - The Mustangs defeated the Vikings 25-21, 16-25, 24-26, 25-20, 15-8 in the North Eastern Conference match.

APPLETON - Preston Batres had two goals and an assist to lead the Hornets to the win over the Terrors.

Carlos Escobar also had two goals for Green Bay Preble. Joe Rivas, Hunter DeGrave, Javier Cruz and Lucas Alonzo Dominguez each had one goal.

Dax Becker, Cam Howard and Carter Allen Walker each had an assist, with Brace Massio getting three saves in goal for Green Bay Preble (5-1-1).

DE PERE - The Redbirds took a 2-0 lead in the first half and expanded it with three goals in the second half in their Fox River Classic Conference win over the Pirates.

De Pere got two goals from Brady Shanda and Maxim Skurka and one from Jameson Jauquet. Shanda and Skurka both had two assists, while Kellen Lofdahl had one.

De Pere improves to 4-1 overall with the win. Bay Port falls to 2-3.

OSHKOSH - Blake Batzer made 11 saves in goal to lead the Red Raiders to the shutout win over the Spartans.

Pulaski scored its goal in the first half when Max Mondloch found his brother Miles Mondloch open near the goal for a shot that he put low past the goalie.

Pulaski is now 5-0-2 overall, while Oshkosh North falls to 1-5.

APPLETON - The Foxes scored four times in the first half in their win over the Hawks.

Cameron Williams led Fox Valley Lutheran with a goal and two assists. Austin Zanto, Ezra Schaser and JJ Minzlaff also scored for Fox Valley Lutheran, with Micah Ewart getting an assist.

Eric Techlin had two saves in goal for Fox Valley Lutheran, which improves to 4-0-2 with the win.

SHEBOYGAN FALLS - The Marines and Falcons both scored second-half goals as the two teams battled to a draw.

KEWAUNEE - The Bulldogs took a 6-1 lead in the first half and cruised to the win over the Storm.

Peshtigo improves to 1-3 with the win, while Kewaunee falls to 0-6.

GREEN BAY - The Paladins overcame a 2-1 halftime deficit to defeat the top-ranked Clippers.

Kellen Landes scored twice for Providence Academy, while Isaiah Faulkner scored once.

Elliot Gungor had an assist for Providence Academy, which is now 4-1 overall.

Sturgeon Bay falls to 5-2 with the loss.

SEYMOUR - The Wolves pulled away from a 1-1 halftime score to defeat the Thunder.

Frander Centeno and Graham Biesterveld scored two of Winneconne's goals.

Trey Lemke and Blake Syring both had assists for Winneconne.

Andrew Sperling had five saves in goal for the Wolves.
