Rishabh Pant lean patch continues, falls for 10 runs against Jammu & Kashmir in Irani Cup Day 1

Rishabh Pant had a disappointing outing in the Irani Cup as the Rest of India captain and wicketkeeper was dismissed for just 10 runs against Jammu & Kashmir at the Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium on Thursday.Pant, who faced 36 balls and hit one four, attempted to attack Umar Nazir but ended up slicing the ball straight to Qamran Iqbal at short cover-point. Pant stepped out of his crease and moved towards the leg side before trying to smash the delivery through the covers. However, he only managed to get a thick slice, bringing an end to his stay at the crease.Rest of India suffered another blow soon after Pant's dismissal when Saransh Jain was bowled by Sahil Lotra for 5. Lotra tossed the ball up and got it to dip and turn away, beating Jain's outside edge and crashing into the off stump.With Jain's dismissal, Rest of India slipped to 150/6 after 51 overs, having lost six wickets in the first innings. Earlier, Shikhar Mohar was the only batter to score a half-century, while Sarfaraz Khan contributed 45.
