It did not take long for Odell Beckham Jr. to land with a new team after he was released by the New York Giants. The Minnesota Vikings signed Beckham to their practice squad on Wednesday, hoping to add depth to their offensive unit.
It is a reunion for Beckham and coach Kevin O'Connell, who worked together on the Los Angeles Rams.
Another familiar face for the 33-year-old wide receiver is Justin Jefferson , who has become his close friend over the years. Jefferson did not hide his excitement over being teammates with Beckham and heaped praise on the three-time Pro Bowler.

"All of the years that I've watched him play and looked up to his game and his playstyle, on and off the field, how he carried himself as a superstar in the league and just managing it," said Jefferson.
"We've been brothers for a very, very long time. The connection has always been there. We've always talked about this moment, one day being able to play with each other. But for him to actually be here, it's definitely crazy."
The 27-year-old Jefferson, who is dealing with an ankle injury , also shared his immediate conversation with OBJ following the unexpected development.
"He called me last night to tell me that he was coming down, and just the excitement on his face and just the excitement that we both shared together, it was definitely a cool moment," added the four-time All-Pro.
Beckham and Jefferson both played at LSU. Jefferson's older brother, Jordan Jefferson, was Beckham's quarterback when he was with the Tigers.
Jefferson has openly looked up to OBJ as an idol, trying to emulate his style, swagger, and personality.
