John Campbell scripts history vs India, eclipses Chris Gayle and Powell with 65-ball century

West Indies opener John Campbell hit a century off just 65 balls in the second ODI against India at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday, giving his team a strong start as they look to level the three-match series.West Indies had lost the first ODI by eight wickets, but Campbell’s innings put them in a strong position early in the second game while batting first.The left-handed batter reached his century in the 17th over with a single off India spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who had been the standout bowler in the first ODI. Campbell hit nine fours and five sixes on his way to the milestone.His century was the fastest by a West Indies batter against India in ODIs.
