Maia Bouchier majestically scored a century in back-to-back matches to help Hampshire beat Surrey and send them to the One-Day Cup final for the second season in a row.

Bouchier followed her 118 against The Blaze with a breathtaking 117 not out, to make it three hundreds in September. She is the competition's leading run-scorer with 721 in 11 innings.

She had century stands with Freya Kemp and Abi Norgrove, who scored 77 and 60 respectively, as Hampshire piled up 303-5.

Surrey were rolled out for 109 in response, with Australian Amanda-Jade Wellington picking up 5-19 - to take her tally up to 37 in 2026.

Hampshire will face The Blaze in the final on Saturday at the Utilita Bowl, looking to avenge last year's defeat by Lancashire.

This was a rerun of last year's semi-final. On that occasion, Surrey chose to bat in grim conditions but this time – with unthreatening clouds above – they stuck their hosts in.

Despite Bouchier quickly slotting into gear and captain and wicketkeeper Kira Chathli taken off after an over, the visitors got a foothold in the match by dismissing Ella McCaughan and Georgia Adams inside 11 overs.

Things felt even at 50-2 but Kemp's arrival and her aggressive batting swung the momentum.

Her 77 off 63 balls, in a 110-run partnership with a supporting Bouchier, was a masterclass in powerful attacking batting, finding the mid-wicket boundary at will.

Kemp and Rhianna Southby were both caught and bowled, but the impetus remained with Hampshire, with Norgrove arriving to continue her impressive form.

Both Bouchier and Norgrove have had outstanding One-Day Cups, with the former the top-scorer in the competition, and the latter fifth on the rankings.

Since returning from The Hundred, Norgrove now has three fifties in five innings in the 50-over tournament.

Bouchier has 423 runs in five innings for Hampshire and England and she is up to a remarkable 1,680 runs this summer.

Both were relentless in wearing Surrey down and barrelled their way past 300.

Bouchier – who was given a life on 62 – stroked balls through the covers and straight, effortless to reach her fifth hundred of 2026. Norgrove was run out off the last ball of the innings but only after scoring 60 in a 109-run stand.

The 304 target for Surrey always looked a tough ask on a good but tired pitch, and despite Rachel King giving them a solid start, the chase never gathered traction.

After Daisy Gibb had taken the crucial wicket of Sophia Dunkley, spin took hold and would not relent.

Sune Luus holed out, Jemima Spence was bowled advancing, Phoebe Franklin was caught in the right, Alice Davidson-Richards edged to slip, King was run out, and Ryana Macdonald-Gay and Alice Monaghan were bowled.

Wellington finished things off by having Chathli stumped, to complete her second five-wicket haul of the competition.
