The third season of the Nepal Premier League started on Monday, October 26 and finishes on November 21.
Lumbini Lions opened their title defence against Sudurpaschim Royals, the side they will meet again on the final weekend of the group stage. Every match is at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Eight franchises are involved, each playing seven league games before the top four move into the playoffs. Janakpur Bolts won the inaugural edition in 2024 and the champions this season collect NPR 15 million.

Each side plays seven league matches, meeting every other team once, with the top four advancing to the playoffs on November 17.
The structure follows the familiar IPL model. Qualifier 1 pits first against second with the winner going straight to the final, while third and fourth meet in the Eliminator. The loser of Qualifier 1 then faces the Eliminator winner in Qualifier 2 for the second place in the final on November 21.
