The British heavyweight duo will finally share the ring at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Friday December 11 and their American rival Wilder might also be fighting on the same bill, Sky Sports understands.

In Wilder's last fight, the former WBC champion battled to a points win over British contender Derek Chisora at The O2 in London in April.

Wilder could now be heading back to Britain for a bout on the long-awaited Fury vs Joshua event, although a potential opponent is yet to be confirmed.

The Bronze Bomber fought Fury on three occasions, flooring him a number of times as they battled to a draw before Wilder suffered two successive stoppage losses.

Wilder also had a long-running rivalry with Joshua, although they are yet to settle their feud with a fight.
