Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) president and founder David Feldman says the promotion is already planning its next major baseball stadium event after the huge success of BKFC 92 at Fenway Park. Feldman described the Boston show as an “unbelievable” experience and said the promotion is now receiving interest from venues and sponsors.Feldman has already identified another baseball stadium as his next target. He said BKFC is currently doing business with the venue and hopes to finalise a deal. The promotion’s event at Fenway Park gave bare-knuckle boxing a major platform in one of America’s most famous sporting venues.Speaking with Babcock this week, Feldman reflected on how far BKFC has come. He pointed to the promotion’s humble beginnings before comparing them with the scale of the Fenway Park event.“We had fireworks inside the ring and we literally had fireworks in the stadium. It was just an incredible, incredible experience. To understand where we’ve come from with one fight and four people in attendance to then an ice-skating rink in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to now Fenway Park, I mean really truly it’s just it’s incredible and I’m real happy for everybody on my team”, Feldman told TMZ.The Fenway Park show has also created strong commercial interest. Feldman said venues and sponsors are already approaching the promotion.He revealed, “I’m hearing from venues, a couple sponsors we had there at the event, they’re like, ‘When can you sign the contract?’ ‘When can you send it?’ Like, ‘Let’s go, I don’t wanna miss this boat.’”That reaction has given BKFC confidence that its stadium strategy can continue.The promotion is also exploring a major television deal. Feldman said BKFC is currently talking with a “major, major television platform.” A deal of that size could give the promotion another major boost and help it reach a much larger audience.However, Feldman’s biggest revelation was about the next venue. When asked where BKFC could go after Fenway Park, he made it clear that another baseball stadium is the target.“What’s next is absolutely gonna be another baseball stadium. I’m targeting one in my head right now that we’re already doing business with them anyway and if we can pull that one off, that one’s gonna be the one”, he said.Feldman did not reveal the name of the stadium.
