UFC 331: Van vs Pantoja start time, undercard and how to watch fights this weekend

Alexandre Pantoja aims to regain the flyweight title from Joshua Van, having suffered an injury in their first meeting

· 369 words

This weekend, Alexandre Pantoja seeks a unique revenge against Joshua Van, in their second title fight in nine months.

In December, Pantoja suffered an injury just 26 seconds into a flyweight-title defence against Van , as the latter won the belt in strange circumstances.

The Myanmar native was therefore a divisive champion , but he legitimised his reign by winning a war against Tatsuro Taira in May, ultimately stopping his challenger in the final round.

To further cement his status as flyweight champion, however, Van may need to beat Pantoja definitively , and he gets the chance to do so at UFC 331.

Before Van, 24, faces the Brazilian, 36, in the main event, the co-main event pits Arman Tsarukyan against fellow lightweight contender Mauricio Ruffy. Here's all you need to know.

UFC 331 takes place on Saturday 19 September at Crypto.Com Arena in Los Angeles , US. The early prelims will begin at 10pm BST (2pm PT / 4pm CT / 5pm ET), followed by the regular prelims at 12am BST on Sunday (4pm PT / 6pm CT / 7pm ET on Saturday), then the main card at 2am BST on Sunday (6pm PT / 8pm CT / 9pm ET on Saturday).

In the UK , the card will air live on TNT Sports and is also accessible via HBO Max, EE TV, Virgin Media, Amazon Prime Video, and Sky Sports. In the US , Paramount+ will stream the action, with CBS showing a segment of the card.
