Tyson Fury Rips Anthony Joshua as a 'Coward,' Calls Out Eddie Hearn in IG Video amid Fight Rumors

Tyson Fury issued some strong words on Instagram about Anthony Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn in the wake of rumors that the Fury-Joshua heavyweight boxing match, set for Friday, Dec. 11, could be called off.

Joshua Ryan of MMA Weekly provided a transcript.

"Breaking news: Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn are trying to pull out of this fight," Fury said. "They're saying they're not going to fight now, the little s--thouse cowards."

"It's mainly to do with Eddie Hearn's ego. He's making up a million different things and threatening, 'We're not going to fight. We're not going to fight. We're not going to fight.' You little coward. AJ, pull your finger out, you little white-flagged, yellow-bellied coward."

"Now we're coming home. Now I'm coming home. The Gypsy King is coming back to the United Kingdom, yeah. To thrash you in front of all my fans in Wales. You absolute little nugget bodybuilding sausage. And now you're making a million excuses, you know what I mean? Now you've got Turki Alalshikh finding alternative, real men who will fight at the drop of a hat. So, I hope you are happy, you little cowardly bastards. I've never seen anything like you. You pure s--thouses.

"This is mainly to do with Eddie Hearn's ego. What a little prick. He's cost us the biggest fight in boxing history."

Fury and Joshua are currently set to fight on Dec. 11 in Cardiff, Wales. However, word emerged via Mike Coppinger of The Ring Magazine that the fight was in jeopardy.

Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated provided a look at those reported issues.

Turki Alalshikh is the chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and also the owner of Ring Magazine . Based on this photo provided by UFC President Dana White, one can guess the two are working well together.

For his part, it's clear White isn't backing down from being involved in the fight.

White has an important friend in Alalshikh here, considering that he's bankrolling the fight (the two founded Zuffa Boxing, a boxing promotion company).

Of course, as Mannix noted, Hearn (Joshua's longtime promoter) and Joshua don't want Zuffa involved and have the aforementioned contract backing them. We haven't heard their side of the story since rumors broke Friday, so it'll be interesting to see if any comments arise.

At this point, though, there's serious concern whether this superfight happens at all.
