Katie Taylor Retirement Fight vs. Flora Pili Judges' Scorecards, Punch Stats and Prize Money

Katie Taylor entered retirement in style with a unanimous decision victory over Flora Pili to become the undisputed super lightweight champion in front of a hometown crowd at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

Taylor wasted no time in establishing herself as the more dominant fighter. She put Pili on the defensive and peppered her with jabs to control the early rounds.

Pili was overwhelmed by Taylor's speed and skills, but Pili did put up enough offense to make a few moments interesting.

Those moments became fewer and farther between in the middle rounds. Taylor's speed was too much for Fili and she showed that she still had advantages despite the 11-year age gap.

Fellow women's boxing star Claressa Shields gave Taylor props for the strong performance.

Pili showed some life in the seventh round, forcing Taylor to show that she can still take a punch.

Taylor had more than enough chin to close out the fight as she continued to dominate the fight and end her career with a decisive win.

The win closes out one of the all-time great careers in women's boxing. Taylor was not only an Olympic gold medalist and two-division world champion, but her rivalry with Amanda Serrano blazed a new trail for women's boxing.

The first meeting between the two was the first women's fight to headline a card at Madison Square Garden. The rematch was the most-watched women's professional sporting event as the co-main event for Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul on Netflix. The trilogy fight headlined the first ever all-women's card at Madison Square Garden.

Taylor parlayed dominant runs at lightweight and super lightweight into the high-profile trilogy with Serrano.

Serrano took to X to tip her cap to the champion.

Her hope is that her illustrious career will serve as inspiration for another generation of fighters.

"I've been blessed to achieve more than I could ever have dreamed in this sport but fighting at Croke Park really is the icing on the cake," she said, per Sky Sports . "I hope it's the kind of event that will inspire a whole new generation to take up sport and follow their passions - that for me would be the greatest legacy I could leave."

The Croke Park crowd didn't disappoint with its support for the Irish star.

With titles in multiple divisions and victories in a few of the biggest fights in the history of the sport, it's safe to say she's walking away from the sport as one of the all-time greats.
