After months of waiting, Netflix finally confirmed the much-awaited Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury fight for later this year. The fight is now set to take place on Dec. 11, 2026, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

UFC president Dana White recently claimed to have a role in promoting the Fury vs. Joshua fight. However, Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn has publicly disagreed about the Zuffa Boxing chief's alleged involvement. Now, White has reacted to his rival's latest remarks.

After missing out on the Fury-Joshua fight press conference, White was recently present on stage when he hosted the UFC 332 press conference in Salt Lake City. There, White was asked to comment on Hearn's statements about White missing the Joshua-Fury press conference despite having a role to play in the fight.

"I had the Contender Series (on Tuesday) and I had to be here today," White said. "I fly a lot, but that's a little bit of a rough trip. Not only am I promoting (Fury vs Joshua), we're producing the fight too. UFC is gonna produce the show. I don't know how that's a PR disaster," he added, referencing Hearn's description of the situation," White opened up and addressed his and UFC's role in the fight.

Despite two losses to Oleksandr Usyk and a brief hiatus, Fury came back with two wins over Arslanbek Makhmudov and Mariusz Wach. Fury, 36-2-1, will now enter the boxing ring for the first time against Joshua. Meanwhile, Joshua, 30-4, will fight Fury, having recorded his last two victories over Kristian Prenga and Jake Paul.
