Ilja Dragunov to Sign AEW Contract After WWE Exit, New Rumors Reveal Ahead of All Out 2026

Following his exit from WWE earlier this year, Ilia Dragunov reportedly has found a new home.

According to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Dragunov is set to sign a contract with AEW:

Dragunov reportedly elected not to re-sign with WWE when his contract expired last month. The 32-year-old had spent seven years with the company, originally as part of the NXT UK brand. He went on to win the NXT UK Championship, NXT Championship and WWE United States Championship during his tenure.

Known for his hard-hitting style, Dragunov will fit right in alongside AEW's deep roster. He follows tag team legends Kofi and Austin Creed, formerly known as The New Day and now known as The New Level, as the latest Superstars to join AEW after leaving WWE.
