Young Bucks Beat Cage & Cope, FTR to Win AEW Tag Titles in a Ladder Match at All Out

The Young Bucks beat Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, and FTR to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships in a three-way ladder match at All Out on Saturday.

The Young Bucks won after hitting Cage with a BTE Trigger from the top of the ladder, allowing them to make history.

This was a tough and physical match to say the least. In the end, the Young Bucks endured the brutality and won.

At All In last month, Cage and Cope put the tag team titles on the line against The Young Bucks. While they were victorious and retained the championships, it quickly became apparent that Cage and Cope were marked men.

Following their victory, several of AEW's top tag teams made their way to the ring to confront Cope and Cage, including a returning FTR, The Motor City Machine Guns and The New Level.

With The Young Bucks remaining in the ring as well, five of AEW's top teams were in the squared circle together, thus making it clear that the competition level in the AEW tag team division had reached new heights.

Coming out of All In, The Young Bucks expressed unhappiness over the way their match against Cage and Cope played out, as Christian used a wrench to get the win.

However, when The Bucks called out Cage and Cope, FTR stepped up to them instead, signaling the renewal of a rivalry that has played out for much of AEW's existence.

While The Young Bucks and FTR argued, Cage and Cope made their entrance and challenged both teams to face them in a three-way ladder match at All Out.

Copeland made mention of tables and chairs in addition to ladders, which suggested AEW was trying to do their own version of a TLC match.

Cage and Cope helped create and popularize that match type in WWE in the early 2000s along with two other legendary tag teams in The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz.

Experience with that stipulation was on the side of Cage and Cope at All Out, but The Young Bucks managed to come out on top and set a new record as four-time AEW world tag team champs.
