As fighter nicknames go, the "Towering Inferno" is pretty strong.
As fighter nicknames go, the "Towering Inferno" is pretty strong.
Sebastian Fundora, who's spent two years trying to grow his championship persona into that menacing label, makes the fourth defense of his WBC 154-pound title against top-ranked challenger Ermal Hadribeaj atop a three-bout, DAZN-streamed card from the Cosmopolitan resort in Las Vegas.
Fundora was a 6'6" novelty when he beat Tim Tszyu by bloody split decision in March 2024 and backed it up by beating Tszyu again, this time by seventh-round TKO, 16 months later. He's fought once since and stopped former welterweight champ Keith Thurman in six rounds in March 2026.
Hadribeaj, 32, is 23-0-1 with eight KOs as a pro since 2019 and is a native of Albania now based in Miami. He's billed as the "Albanian Sniper" and is ranked ninth in the weight class by Ring Magazine , six places below Fundora in spot No. 3.
B/R will provide live updates when ring walks begin shortly after 8 p.m. ET.
