Brazilian Heavyweights Alex Pereira and Valter Walker have beef.
The feud started recently, and the igniting factor was Walker predicting Sergei Pavlovich to defeat Pereira in their upcoming contest. Walker expressed interest in fighting Pereira himself somewhere down the line, and "Poatan" was pissed! He fired back by challenging Walker to spar at his gym, as well as calling Walker broke and attention-seeking.
That's a strong reaction considering Pereira is the underdog .
In a recent interview with Sexto MMA , Walker returned fire and didn't hold anything back. He doesn't understand why Pereira is so mad and believes that the former champion's ego is to blame … as well as one other deficiency.
"Everything for him is buying luxury cars," Walker began (via ACD MMA ). "Did you see that last luxury car he bought that he doesn't even fit in? To me, anyone who buys a luxury car they don't fit in has a small d—k. He has 10cm at most."
Walker continued, "How did I disrespect him? I just have my opinion. The Russian is going to knock out Poatan in the first round … He has a very bruised ego. He's gonna get KO'd in the first round, then I'll fight him, take his foot. Brother, you can expect Poatan back at the tire shop. Unfortunately, that is the future waiting for him."
Pereira and Walker aren't exactly on the same tier of stardom, but then, Walker has actually won a UFC Heavyweight bout! In fact, the 28-year-old "Clean Monster" has won five straight bouts, stopping every opponent via a leg lock of some kind . That win streak has pushed him to No. 11 in the official rankings , so he actually could be a reasonable opponent for "Poatan" if Pereira comes up short versus Pavlovich.
