Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of AEW Dynamite's Grand Slam France special on October 6.

Here's a look at what AEW advertised for the show:

Jon Moxley and Gabe Kidd vs. Jake Doyle and Mark Davis

Let's take a look at what happened on this week's special Tuesday episode of Dynamite.

Kofi got his first chance to win a singles title in AEW when he challenged Bandido for the ROH World Heavyweight Championship. This also continues the growing feud between Brodido and the trio of Swerve Strickland and New Level.

They started off with some simple exchanges and taunts to get the crowd to react, but they didn't rush right into the fast-paced or high-flying stuff. It took a couple of minutes before they started picking up the pace.

Swerve and Prince Nana eventually showed up to lend Kofi some support, and Adam Page and Brody King were not far behind to back up Bandido.

Bandido and Kofi barely have any experience working together, but they developed chemistry right away and put on a fun show for the Paris crowd. They definitely paced themselves in places, but it didn't slow down the match enough to affect it too much.

Things eventually broke down at ringside as Hangman and Swerve got into it, but their respective allies pulled them apart. Bandido took advantage of the distraction and hit the 21 Plex for the pin and the win.

It's so cool getting to watch Kofi and Austin Creed get to face a whole new roster after they both spent so long in WWE.

Kofi's dive over the top rope early in the match looked good.

Excalibur made an effort to say Adidas the way they say it in Europe, which was kind of funny.

Jack Perry has been trying to get Samoa Joe's attention in recent weeks, and he finally got his match this week against the former world champion.

Jungle Jack ran right at Joe as soon as the bell rang, but the big man was ready for him. Perry hit a couple of chops in the corner, and Joe almost looked insulted that he thought it would do anything, so he shoved him to the mat.

Perry remained aggressive and finally scored a takedown with a huge clothesline that caught Joe off guard. The Samoan Submission Machine hit one big slam to turn things around.

While Perry continued to show life and fight back, Joe definitely controlled the pace for most of the match. That being said, Jack got in a lot more offense than a lot of people probably expected.

Joe sold well for him and made him look like a tough fighter. This match made good use of the time they were given, and it may have even lasted a bit longer than necessary, but that did not feel like a negative.

After a solid back-and-forth fight, Joe hit the Muscle Buster for the win.

Joe looked genuinely surprised when Perry hit the clothesline.

Joe's walkaway spot is still undefeated.

Perry tried to hit a piledriver. As you would probably expect, he was not successful in picking Joe up.

Joe could be heard audibly swearing at one point.

Moxley and Kidd teamed up this week to battle Don Callis Family members, Jake Doyle and Mark Davis, in tag team action.

Kidd started the match by delivering a series of chops to Davis, but it barely seemed to rattle him. Doyle tagged in for a double-team spot, so Mox tagged in to take on Doyle.

The weird thing about this match is that neither team had any outright babyfaces. Davis, Doyle and Kidd are objectively heels, and Mox treads closer to the tweener line. That didn't stop the crowd from choosing to cheer for the Death Riders and boo the DCF, though.

This was a high-energy match that was all over the place, but in a good way. All four men brought a lot of intensity and hard-hitting action to the ring. Every one of them is going to need at least an ice pack after this one.

This match stole the first hour of the show, which is saying a lot when you look at who else competed before them. Davis ended up scoring the win for his team by pinning Kidd, which many would consider an upset. Mox looked very mad after the bell.

Result: Davis and Doyle defeat Moxley and Kidd

The Death Riders still have a chair for Pac during their entrance.

Moxley is deceptively big these days. You don't really realize it until you see him next to another big guy and he is close to the same size.

Davis is well regarded in AEW, and he is still vastly underrated. His national title run was not long enough.

Kidd might be the only person who can make Moxley looks like a calm and measured person.

Darby Allin vs. Kyle Fletcher (TNT Championship)

After a little bit of trash talk, Allin and Fletcher started throwing punches right away to kick their TNT title match off with some energy.

At just a couple of minutes into the match, Allin jumped off the top rope to put Fletcher through the timekeeper's table, so they were not holding back or taking it slow. They were trying to make sure they stole the show.

It felt like every match on this card was better than the last, and more physical, too. Allin and Fletcher delivered what some would call a PPV-quality match, but that seems to be a weekly occurrence in AEW anyway.

Fletcher, the former TNT champion used his size and power to bully his much smaller opponent when he got the chance, and Allin was his usual risk-taking self. They meshed their styles together perfectly to deliver an entertaining performance.

Allin was busted wide open and dripping blood all over the mat toward the end, but he still had some fight in him. He was able to put Fletcher away to retain his title, but it was a struggle.

The suicide dive Allin hit might be one of the best ones he has ever done. Fletcher sold it perfectly, too.

Fletcher might not have been selling when he was walking a little slower. He took some big bumps.

Something about the way Fletcher hits a simple bodyslam makes it look so much more brutal than most. He really gets people high up and then slams them with velocity.

Mercedes Mone vs. Queen Aminata (Women's World Championship)

Aminata had her biggest AEW match to date this week when she challenged Mercedes for the women's world title.

Aminata has been on the rise in AEW recently. She is scoring more wins and keeps finding herself with big opportunities, but management has yet to fully flip the switch on her push and put a title around her waist.

Mone was giving up a little size to her opponent, but not enough for it to make her an underdog, so she played the part of a bully champion well, which helped Aminata get the crowd behind her without much effort.

There was a lot to like in this match. Both women were throwing their bodies into everything they did. This was definitely Aminata's best performance to date, and yet another on the long list of fun matches Mercedes has had in AEW.

After The CEO got the win, Thekla immediately came out and attacked her with a Spear. The Toxic Spider went for a stomp, but Mercedes escaped before she could do it.

Aminata gave an interview before the match and spoke fluent French, which makes since because she used to live there.

Mercedes always kills it with the gear, but Aminata had some cool gear, too.

The CEO got some cheap heat by stomping on a beret, which is the funniest possible way to insult the country of France.

It felt like the commercial came earlier in the match than usual.
