Canelo Alvarez vs. Christian Mbilli Live Updates, Highlights and Results

The king is back. But is he still the king?

Pay-per-view stalwart Canelo Alvarez will walk from the locker room to the ring for the first time in 13 months on Saturday when he meets unbeaten WBC super middleweight champ Christian Mbilli at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Alvarez last fought in September 2025 in Las Vegas, where he was schooled over 12 rounds by now-four-division elite Terence Crawford at Allegiant Stadium. Now 36, Alvarez has not won since he out-pointed William Scull over 12 rounds at ANB Arena in Riyadh in May 2025.

Prior to the Crawford fight, Alvarez had lost just twice—to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2013 and Dmitry Bivol in 2022. Both of those defeats also came in Las Vegas.

The Alvarez-Mbilli bout will headline a four-bout main card to be streamed by DAZN at 1 p.m. ET.

Canelo Alvarez v Christian Mbilli, 12 rounds, super middleweight

Jaime Munguia v Nikita Zon, 12 rounds, super middleweight

Rafael Espinoza v Ricardo Blandon, 12 rounds, featherweight

Raymond Rojas Garcia v Reito Tsutsumi, 10 rounds, super featherweight

B/R will provide live updates shortly after main-card ring walks begin.
