Darren Till and Mike Perry finally look to settle decade-long UFC rivalry in February 2027

Darren Till and Mike Perry could finally settle their long-running rivalry in 2027. The former UFC stars have been linked with a fight for almost a decade. Their rivalry began after Till’s breakout win over Donald Cerrone at UFC Gdansk in October 2017. However, the bout never happened in the UFC.Now, the move to the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has brought the matchup back into focus. BKFC founder Dave Feldman has revealed that a Till-Perry fight could take place as early as February.Darren Till vs Mike Perry could finally happen in BKFCDarren Till joined Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in April after signing a multi-fight deal with the promotion. Mike Perry has been competing in BKFC for the past four years. That has created a new opportunity for the two longtime rivals to finally share a fight.Dave Feldman confirmed that BKFC has already tried to make the fight happen. However, Perry currently has another plan in mind.When discussing Till’s return at BKFC 94 in Manchester, Feldman told SunSport, “We tried to make [the] Mike Perry [fight] happen. But then, you know, he’s trying to do something else right now. But I think that [fight] might happen in February. But Mike, he’s trying to do something else right now.”The February target could depend on Perry’s recovery. The 35-year-old suffered a shoulder dislocation during his most recent outing late last month. He could face at least four months on the sidelines because of the injury.That timeline could still allow Perry to return for a February fight. A potential training camp would also give him time to prepare for a clash with Till.Before that matchup can be made, Till has another major challenge ahead of him. The 33-year-old is set to headline BKFC 94 against former UFC middleweight Yoel Romero.The fight has attracted plenty of attention because of the age difference between the two men. Romero is 49, making him 16 years older than Till.Feldman also revealed that Romero was the one who asked for the fight.He said, “He [Yoel] asked for it, actually. He said, ‘I want the Darren Till fight.’ And then I went back to Darren Till and I said, [Are] you interested in Yoel?’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah, but I don’t know, he’s a little old. ‘Does it really do anything for me? And I said, ‘I think it does a lot for you.’ And then he’s like, ‘Yeah, let’s have it.’ ‘Let’s absolutely have it because people think I’m afraid of him, and I’m not. And let me show the world that I’m not.’”Till will now focus on Romero before potentially turning his attention back to Perry. A February meeting would finally give the pair a chance to settle a rivalry that began in 2017.The two fighters have taken very different paths since their first confrontation. Till became a UFC title challenger, while Perry established himself as one of BKFC’s biggest names.
