'Euphoria' Star Javon Walton Warns Ex-UFC Champ Henry Cejudo Ahead of Misfits Boxing Fight

Actor Javon Walton is confident in his abilities as he prepares to fight former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo.

Walton told TMZ Sports he has "huge respect" for Cejudo's achievements in the cage. However, he believes the boxing ring will be the great equalizer.

"But when it comes to the ring, he don't got experience in the boxing ring," the actor said. "This is my field he's stepping in. So I'm going to show him that he don't belong in a field like this. You know, this is my ring. This is what I've been doing for 16 years. He's gonna want to go right back to the Octagon right after this."

He added that Cejudo "can't handle my hands in the boxing world."

Walton, whose most notable role was in Euphoria , is 3-0-1 as a pro boxer. In his most recent bout, he won a unanimous decision over Anthony Mora. The 20-year-old has a lengthy track record as an amateur as well, going 20-9.

Cejudo is an accomplished combat sports athlete. He went 16-6 in MMA and won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Boxing is a new experience for the 39-year-old, though, and the skills he developed in MMA and wrestling will be of limited value on Saturday night. Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley learned that the hard way when they were knocked out by Jake Paul years ago.

Walton took the fight on short notice, replacing influencer Nurideen Shabazz on the Misfits Boxing card earlier this month.
