Golden State Warriors star Jimmy Butler won't be ready for opening night, but that didn't stop him from carrying on a media day tradition.

The six-time All-Star sported a noticeable fashion accessory during his availability with reporters:

No active NBA player has embraced media day quite like Butler. His "Emo Jimmy" look while playing for the Miami Heat is legendary.

The Warriors — or somebody from the league office — may have preferred Butler take his earrings out. He could've taken things much further.
