Knicks' Josh Hart Jokes About Reputation After Offseason Workout Video, 'Delete This'

New York Knicks star Josh Hart joked that clips of him practicing this offseason will spoil his reputation as what Jalen Brunson has described as "the worst practice player" in the NBA.

Hart responded Saturday to a video of him putting up shots at the Bridgehampton School in New York.

"Yo delete this," Hart wrote. "I need to keep the perception that I don't workout in the summer!"

Both Brunson and coach Mike Brown called out Hart's practice habits in a June 30 episode of Brunson and Hart's podcast The Roommates Show.

"I don't think he's had one good practice day this year... you're the worst practice player ever," Brunson told Hart around the 45:00 mark of the podcast. "That goes back to 'Nova... if any other player in the league did that, they'd be waived."

Brown added Hart was given "by far" the longest leash of any star player on his team.

Hart's practice habits didn't get in the way of him joining his former Villanova teammates Brunson and Mikal Bridges in helping lead the Knicks to the 2026 NBA title.

The Knicks, which lost Mitchell Robinson but added Andre Drummond this summer, have about a month left before their title defense begins with the start of training camp.
