Kyrie Irving, Jayson Tatum Give Pep Talk to Duke in New Video Ahead of 2026-27 MCBB Season<img width

Dallas Mavericks point guard Kyrie Irving and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, both Duke alum, gave the team a pep talk on Monday.

"We always say have fun, but we've got a target on our back everywhere we go," Irving noted. "So get used to it. Get out there, I know you guys are. Sophomores, juniors, seniors, lead the freshman. You guys keep up the work."

Duke is considered one of the favorites to win a national title this season, led by Wisconsin transfer John Blackwell, veteran Caleb Foster and 5-star recruit Cameron Williams.
