Russell Westbrook was brought to tears Monday.
The Oklahoma City Thunder announced they will retire his No. 0 when they host the New York Knicks on Feb. 7, and the franchise legend became emotional when he heard the news:
The honor is well-deserved, as Westbrook played 11 of his 18 NBA seasons with the Thunder and remains the franchise leader in games played (821), points (18,859), rebounds (5,760), assists (6,897), steals (1,442), field goals made (6,626) and minutes (28,329).
And now his jersey will forever be immortalized in the rafters.
