Charlotte Hornets jersey history No. 5 Jannero Pargo 2012-2015
Before entering the BIG3, Jannero Pargo played 11 seasons in the NBA, spending three of those with the Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets.
After point guard Ramon Sessions went down with an injury during the 2012-13 season, the Charlotte Bobcats brought in veteran guard Jannero Pargo on a 10-day contract. Pargo, a former undrafted prospect out of Arkansas, played well enough to earn a contract for the remainder of the 2012-13 season and would later re-sign to stay in Charlotte.
Pargo played parts of three seasons with Charlotte in total, remaining on the roster as the franchise shifted from the Bobcats to the Hornets. In 56 contests, Pargo averaged 5.9 points, 0.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.5 steals. Throughout his 11-year NBA career, Pargo played in 499 games, and his best season came during the 2006-07 campaign with New Orleans, where he tallied 9.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 0.6 steals, suiting up in all 82 contests. Pargo's brother, Jeremy Pargo, also played in the NBA.
