Sacramento enters the contest hoping to bounce back from consecutive preseason losses to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Kings suffered a 127-103 defeat in their preseason opener before falling 114-110 in a more competitive rematch on Thursday night. Zach LaVine and Domantas Sabonis give Sacramento an experienced offensive foundation, while the preseason provides an opportunity for younger players to earn minutes and establish their roles. Facing Golden State will offer another valuable test for a Kings team looking to improve its defensive consistency.

Golden State has experienced mixed results through its first three preseason outings, opening with a 104-101 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers before responding with a dominant 124-98 victory over the Lakers. The Warriors followed that performance with a 123-118 defeat against the Portland Trail Blazers, leaving them looking for greater consistency heading into Saturday's matchup. Stephen Curry remains the centerpiece of Golden State's offense, while head coach Steve Kerr continues evaluating his supporting cast and experimenting with different lineup combinations. With the regular season approaching, the Warriors will look to build chemistry and capitalize on another opportunity to play in front of their home crowd.
