Warriors' Yaxel Lendeborg Surprises His Mom with New House in Heartwarming Video

Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg started out his NBA career by buying his mother a house.

Lendeborg shared a video Friday on his YouTube channel in which he presented his mother, Yissel Raposo, with keys to a new home in California.

Lendeborg wrote a tribute to his mother last February in the Players' Tribune in which he detailed her ongoing battle with Stage 4 appendix cancer .

Raposo was later present to celebrate with Lendeborg when he was selected by the Warriors with the No. 11 pick of the 2026 draft.

Lendeborg has opened his rookie season by starting all nine games for the 6-3 Warriors while ranking behind only Stephen Curry for the team scoring lead with 21 points per contest.
