Caitlin Clark has finally found a way to improve her relationship with WNBA referees.

Despite being one of the faces of the WNBA, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has had way too many altercations with referees.

Why? Well, because the Fever star is always on the hunt to get foul calls, but fighting with them doesn't help her much.

In fact, Clark already has seven technical fouls to her name this season. Ironically, this is what has helped Clark improve her relationship with WNBA referees.

Caitlin Clark gets honest being on the verge of receiving eighth technical foul

With just four regular-season games left, if Clark gets another technical foul she will receive an automatic one-game suspension combined with a $1500 fine from the WNBA.

However, this exact reason is why Clark has learned how to communicate her points better to the refs.

"I mean, I think it's certainly been like a conscious effort about it, and I think it's helped me play better basketball.

"It's just like focus on what I need to focus on, you know, and let the last play go. Like, you can't go back in time and change things," Clark said.

She added, "I feel like the refs might also know I have seven technical fouls, so I always try to warn them, like, I'm working with you, I'm working with you, like, let's have a conversation.

"I think it's made my conversations with them more positive and more conversational in both ways for them and for me."

Clark also pointed out that with just four games left in the regular season, her foul count will reset before the playoffs.

This could mean Clark goes off on the refs during the final game of the season. Of course, it needs to be a valid reason; otherwise, fans may turn on Clark.
