LeBron James starred for the Philadelphia 76ers in their 98-93 win over the New York Knicks in the NBA Cup.
The Sixers have had a fine start to the campaign, and they continued their regular-season form in the Cup by picking up another impressive win over the Knicks.
James arguably had his best game in a 76ers' shirt, so much so that even Skip Bayless has praised him.
Skip Bayless brings back LeBron James' 'fit in and not fit out' quote to praise him
Tyrese Maxey was probably the best player in the game, having scored a game-high 27 points along with four rebounds and four assists.
However, as always, all eyes were on James to see what he could do, and The King did not disappoint.
James recorded 20 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in what was a fantastic performance for the 76ers against the Knicks.
After the game, Bayless reacted by saying on X: "Sixers continue to show they're just better than the champs. Held Knicks to 93.
"No JB, but LeBron had a strong game: 20/9/8, nice lane fadeaway with 1:10 left and a late follow. He's fitting in, not out."
Eagle-eyed James fans would immediately recognise that the last five words from Bayless' tweet are actually from one of LeBron's posts over 11 years ago.
Back in 2015, the then-Cavaliers superstar tweeted : "Stop trying to find a way to FIT-OUT and just FIT-IN. Be a part of something special! Just my thoughts."
James' post at the time was said to be a subliminal jab directed at his then-Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Kevin Love, who had spoken out about trying to 'fit out' rather than 'fit in' with the team.
Fast-forward 11 years, James is definitely fitting in with the 76ers, and that has helped them win all but one game so far this season.
