Warriors among teams in attendance to scout top international prospect
The Golden State Warriors have representatives in Australia to scout Dash Daniels during the NBL preseason.
The Golden State Warriors have already begun evaluating international talent ahead of the 2027 NBA Draft. According to basketball insider Olgun Uluc, the Warriors are among six NBA teams to have representation at the 2026 NBL Blitz. The NBL Blitz is a preseason tournament taking place in Australia during the first week of September ahead of opening night (September 19).
Of all international prospects in action, Dash Daniels (younger brother of Hawks guard Dyson Daniels) may be the most coveted. Daniels is listed as a 6'5" guard and was recently projected as high as the No. 47 overall pick in the 2027 NBA Draft by Tankathon. Last season with Melbourne United, Daniels averaged 4.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.2 blocks in 14.2 minutes per game. In addition to Golden State, the Thunder, Rockets, Magic, Trail Blazers and Heat are expected to attend.
