‘Least surprising ever’ – NBA fans sound off on Draymond Green vs. Dillon Brooks fight

Two of the NBA's most volatile stars clashed during the Golden State Warriors' clash against the Phoenix Suns, and fans online are far from surprised.

Dillon Brooks and Draymond Green are both known for their extremely heated temperaments which often result in volatile altercations on the court. With the Golden State Warriors taking on the Phoenix Suns on Monday night, an issue between the two was always a possibility.

Draymond Green was ejected from the Warriors' game against the Suns after a third-quarter issue between him and Brooks. In this scenario, the Golden State Warriors man was the aggressor, and naturally fans were quick to call him out online.

NBA fans blame Draymond Green for the fight between him and Dillon Brooks

The Golden State Warriors claimed the victory in the end, but they had to do it without their defensive anchor and offensive hub. Green was kicked out of the game for grabbing center Khaman Maluach in the air while making no play on the ball and then trying to choke Brooks when he showed up to confront him.

The referees gave Draymond two technicals and Brooks one for their exchange. The moment unsurprisingly went viral online.

"This is the least surprising thing ever, I should have bet my house on it," one fan claimed. "Dillon wasn't wrong, way to have your teammate back," a second fan said. "They need to get Draymond out of the league man, this dude is genuinely the worst," a third comment observed.

"What makes Draymond think he is so tough, like legit asking," a different reply read. "I can't believe I'm saying this but I am on Dillon Brooks' side here," a fifth fan said. "You can't convince me that Draymond Green does not need to get therapy mate," a sixth person wrote.

The Warriors managed to get the win even with the handicap but this is the latest in a line of extremely irresponsible behaviour from Green. It would not be surprising if his actions resulted in him being further disciplined by the NBA.
