LeBron James, the former Los Angeles Lakers’ icon, and his wife Savannah James have remained committed to their hometown, Akron, even as they are constantly surrounded by their fame and busy lives. As LeBron James gears up to get back to the court in the next few weeks, his foundation’s education wing, the I PROMISE School,has shared a new update about the new school year.LeBron James’ foundation makes a new update about children starting the new school year as the NBA icon stands by Akron’s childrenA few hours ago, LeBron James' I PROMISE School took to its social media to make a post about their students.The post read as, “Welcome Home, 3rd grade! Sorting Day is a moment our 3rd graders won’t forget. One by one, our scholars stepped up to the House Wheel to find out where they’d land, joining a House full of new connections, traditions, support and, of course, their people. 💚”The post also added, “What starts with a spin becomes a sense of belonging, a community to lean on and a whole new way to experience what it means to be part of IPS. 😁🥳 5 Houses. 1 IPS. They want us to continue to be as positive as possible because they see the bright future in us. Even though there were some days I felt like it wasn’t the best day for me personally, or for my mom, I always felt like there would be brighter days.”For now, there are rumors about LeBron James retiring after his new season with the Philadelphia 76ers.
