The stage is set for the final weekend of the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup with the last two teams advancing to the quarterfinals on Wednesday.

Australia and China claimed the final two spots, joining the United States, Spain, Hungary, France, Belgium and Germany in pursuit of a gold medal.

Here is the updated schedule for the four quarterfinal matchups and odds to win the tournament.

With the exception of a close call against Italy in which the offense could muster just 55 points, there has been nothing in Team USA's performance thus far to suggest it won't leave Berlin as champions.

Immediately after the scare against Italy, the Americans rebounded with a 41-point win over the Czech Republic.

The strongest challenger to the U.S. right now looks to be France, which had the best point differential of any team in group play at plus-127 in three games.

France and the United States are on opposite sides of the bracket, so a matchup wouldn't happen until the title game if it comes to pass. Team USA has never lost to France in six head-to-head meetings with the last matchup coming in group play at the 2020 Olympics.

This French roster is better than the group from Tokyo with Janelle Salaun and Dominique Malonga alongside Gabby Williams and Marine Johannès.

Team USA's overall depth gives it an advantage against anyone in the world, but another bad shooting night like the Italy game could open the door for France to end their quest for a fifth straight World Cup title that dates back to 2010.
