Team USA is back in action today at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup against Italy in the second game of the group stage.

The United States is coming off a 94-61 win over China on Friday, where they assisted on 26 of 34 field-goals made and all 12 players scored. Caitlin Clark was the best player on the court, recording 14 points and 11 assists to zero turnovers in her World Cup debut.

Italy opened the tournament with a 63-54 win over Czechia in their opening game, led by wing Cecilia Zandalasini and point guard Matilde Villa. Zandalasini is Italy's primary shot creator and their lone WNBA player, while Villa is a speedy guard who was selected in the third round of the 2024 WNBA Draft.
