A Kobe Bryant card featuring a game-used patch reportedly sold for a record price Sunday.
Insider Adam Gray reported a 2017 Flawless Kobe Logoman auto card sold for $4.2 million in an auction, which was the highest price ever paid for a solo Bryant card.
Gray noted the card was made "a couple years" after Bryant retired following the 2015-16 season.
Bryant famously scored 60 points in his last game that season before addressing the crowd to end his Los Angeles Lakers career.
He was one of the best players in NBA history with a resume that included five championships, two NBA Finals MVPs, two scoring titles, 15 All-NBA selections, a league MVP, 12 All-Defensive nods and 18 All-Star selections.
The Hall of Famer was a Lakers icon, and his cards are clearly still highly sought given the latest record-setting price.
