Throughout the last two decades, Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry, have actively worked towards improving lives of people in Akron and now, they have marked another milestone.LeBron James’ foundation makes another impact in the lives of children belonging to the star player’s hometown in AkronA few hours ago, LeBron James’ foundation, the LeBron James Family Foundation, made a post about how the I PROMISE School has marked nine years of its existence today.The post shows pictures of children coming back to school with a caption that read as, “Nine years ago, we made a promise to show up for our students, believe in what they could become, and walk alongside them every step of the way. 💚 While so much has evolved within our I PROMISE ecosystem, the heart of that promise hasn’t. 🙌 As we welcome another class through our doors, we’re excited to continue watching students grow, families become stronger, and our community come together.”The post added, “From the House system to I PROMISE Athletics and everything in between, the I PROMISE School has evolved alongside our students, building growth, accountability, camaraderie and, most importantly, family. ❤️💛💜🖤💙 We believe in our students.”The post continued, “We believe in the power of education, the strength of our families, and the bonds that carry us through life’s ups and downs because “We Are Family” isn’t just something we say.
