Well, there's at least one good thing about the 2026-2027 NBA season involving the Los Angeles Clippers: ClipperVision is back.
The Clippers have had a unique stretch over the last year. Between Chris Paul's aborted retirement run, an epic collapse to end the season, a quick playoff exit, the cloud of Pablo Torre's Pulitzer-winning report about Kawhi Leonard's contract, and the NBA dropping the hammer on the franchise because of it, there isn't too much excitement heading into the season.
But at least they made it easier to watch whatever it is the Clippers do this season. The team announced its local television plan earlier this week, with returning ClipperVision broadcasting 77 Clippers games and replacing the now-defunct FanDuel Sports Network SoCal. 10 games will also air on Nexstar's KTLA-5.
In-market fans without a pay TV subscription can stream ClipperVision through a direct subscription, with monthly and full-season pass options.
ClipperVision previously existed as the team's in-market streaming package , but folded into FanDuel Sports Network before the 2025-2026 season.
Like other NBA teams making the best of Main Street's collapse, this is a one-year arrangement. The Clippers expect to join the NBA's centralized media hub in the 2027-2028 season. The deal's financial terms were undisclosed, but SBJ reported that the LA franchise is expected to earn between $16 and $ 18 million in revenue through carriage fees and additional income from a national and local ad partnership with Playfly Sports .
The NBA's new in-house production arm will produce the Clippers broadcasts for an undisclosed fee. Otherwise, the NBA team will return its usual broadcasting team, providing a sense of normalcy in a season that will be anything but. Brian Sieman will be on the call for the 20th season along with game analysts Jim Jackson, Mike Fratello, and Brent Barry, while Ohm Youngmisuk joins as sideline reporter and host.
