Stephon Castle showcases his gratitude for the Spurs legends' impactful support

People like Tim Duncan , Manu Ginobili , David Robinson, and many more are always present for the Spurs . This has helped the younger players because they know that they have some mentors to go to when they need help.

Stephon Castle is thankful for former Spurs players' support

For any Spurs player, they will become familiar with the older figures within the organization who have been there for a long time. Of course, Gregg Popovich is probably the most recognizable one, as he is still the team president.

Mitch Johnson might have taken over as the head coach, but Pop still has an impact and influence on the players. Youngsters like Castle and Dylan Harper are benefiting from this because they know they have mentors to look up to.

Castle himself has only been in the league for two seasons, but he has learned plenty of lessons already. Not only on the court, but from those who have succeeded already, like Duncan and Ginobili.

"It's a blessing to play for an organization like that. The greats that we've had come through that organization. I mean, what they still do for that organization to this day. They come back, they give us tips. You know, they watch our games. They're at our practices all the time," Castle said on Slam Philippines .

It is a big deal for the Spurs to have this kind of culture because it will only get better with time. Since they are focused on building towards the future with this current core, the older core are putting in a concerted effort to help the team succeed moving forward.
