Becky Hammon Drops Brutally Honest Quote After Being Asked About Fever, Aces 'Parallels'

Becky Hammon was dismissive of comparisons between her three-time champion Las Vegas Aces and the Indiana Fever after eliminating Caitlin Clark's team from the playoffs Thursday night.

When asked if she saw "parallels" between the Fever and the 2022 Aces, Hammon answered bluntly, "No."

Aces star A'ja Wilson laughed at the answer.

Harmon followed that up with, "I think that team has great potential, to answer your question. But it's different."

The Aces had never won a title before Hammon joined the team ahead of the 2022 campaign. A roster starring players including Wilson, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray went on to win the first of three championships in a span of four years that season.

The Fever, led by Clark alongside Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, will be left still searching for their first title since 2012 following Friday night's 94-83 elimination loss to the Aces.

The Aces will now advance to face either the Golden State Valkyries or Dallas Wings in the 2026 WNBA semifinals.
