Indiana Fever celebrated Kelsey Mitchell 's record-breaking night in style.

The Indiana Fever recently took on the Toronto Tempo , and as expected, it was a one-sided WNBA contest.

Kelsey Mitchell spearheaded the Fever's 103-85 win following a 33-point effort. Aside from Mitchell, Clark also dropped 28 points in a team-high 34 minutes.

However, Mitchell was the star of the show as the MVP candidate broke Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson's phenomenal WNBA record.

Mitchell's scoring outburst helped her get past Wilson's 1,021 mark for most points scored in a single WNBA season. Wilson set the record in 2024, and now Mitchell has surpassed it, as she already has 1,023 points in the current campaign.

The Fever star's historic night was made even better by her teammates as she was showered with confetti in the locker room.

"Ok this is adorable," one fan wrote. While another added, "The cleaning crew are not going to be happy in the morning."

"Look at little jumps; Kelsey is a cutie," a third fan pointed out. "The Fever have a great team! Go for the championship!" a fourth fan announced.

"Confetti in the locker room is so unserious; I love it," a fifth fan stated in awe of the moment.

While the majority of fans loved the moment, some questioned the Fever's biased behaviour towards Mitchell.

They demanded answers about why Clark isn't treated the same way despite breaking a plethora of WNBA records each season.
