Augmon played one season for Charlotte, wearing the No. 2 and averaging 4.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.2 blocks in 77 appearances.Augmon, a 15-year NBA veteran and former No. 9 overall pick in the 1991 NBA Draft, played over 1,000 career games but enjoyed his best seasons with the Atlanta Hawks . In five seasons with Atlanta, Augmon averaged 13.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.4 blocks. He also played for the Portland Trail Blazers , New Orleans Hornets, Orlando Magic and the Detroit Pistons .
