Fever guard Ty Harris ruled out for 2026 WNBA playoffs after suffering broken left fibula in regular-season finale

Indiana Fever guard Tyasha Harris will miss the 2026 postseason after breaking her left fibula, the team announced Saturday.

Harris suffered the injury during the Fever's regular-season finale on Thursday, going down in pain after a missed layup in the third quarter. The guard had to be carried off the court by staff, who took her back into the locker room.

Harris was ruled out shortly afterward, with the team initially citing an ankle injury.

Harris, 28, signed with Indiana ahead of the 2026 season. The guard averaged about 4 points, 2 assists and 1.1 rebounds per game coming off the bench.

The Fever also lost Aliyah Boston earlier in the game to a right lower leg injury, with head coach Stephanie White saying postgame that Boston experienced a flare-up of an injury she'd been dealing with throughout the season.

Indiana was held to a season low in points in the 86-66 loss to the Lynx. With the loss, the Fever fell to the sixth seed in the WNBA standings, setting up a high-pressure first-round matchup against the No. 3 Las Vegas Aces .
