Dillon Brooks Jokes He'll 'Dropkick' Anyone Who 'Pisses Me Off' During NBA Games After Trip to China

Dillon Brooks is known as one of the NBA's so-called villains, and he had some fun with that reputation Monday during media days.

The Phoenix Suns swingman told reporters , "if anyone pisses me off, giving them dropkicks—especially the ones in stripes," when asked how his training he learned in China will help him this season.

He was joking and then clarified that he actually believes he will have a better mental approach because of the trip.

Phoenix would surely welcome that, as Brooks led the league with 17 technical fouls last season.

He never hesitates to talk trash or take a physical approach to defense, even when he is matched up with some of the league's biggest stars such as LeBron James. That approach, along with the technical fouls, has created his reputation.

However, a different mental approach could help him become even more effective in 2026-27 as he looks to help the Suns reach the playoffs as an important role player alongside Devin Booker and Jalen Green.
