Lexie Brown singles out Caitlin Clark trait that will make her ‘one of the best point guards to ever play in the WNBA’

Caitlin Clark has already cemented herself as one of the best players in the WNBA this year, but she is now being backed to be one of the top point guards in history.

Clark ended the 2026 regular season with the most total points created in the entire league, and most recently impressed for the Indiana Fever in game two of their first-round playoff series.

She made history when she scored 27 points and provided 15 assists in the win over the Las Vegas Aces .

Elsewhere, Lexie Brown has suggested that Clark's court vision can help her 'go down as one of the best point guards to ever play in the WNBA'.

In a clip shared by NBA TV on X/Twitter, Brown said: "For me, I've said this since she was at Iowa when she was a freshman.

"I remember watching her and just saying, seeing her court vision, the way she finds her teammates, the way her head is always up when she's advancing the ball, finding the open man in transition in the half-court.

"I think, I don't know if it's underrated, because she's breaking all of these records.

"But what I'm saying like, she can go down as one of the best point guards to ever play in the WNBA.

"Like, she's well on her way already. So for me, that's been, yes her scoring ability is incredible, but for me, one of the things I've always loved about her game is her court vision."

Clark finished the regular season with 333 assists, which was the second-most in the league behind Alyssa Thomas .

And so far, her 25 assists in this year's playoffs put her well ahead of all competition in the postseason, with Chelsea Gray and Jackie Young joint-second in the standings with 15 at the time of writing.
