Andrew Wiggins Talks Klay Thompson Reunion on Heat After Winning Title with Warriors, 'He's 1-of-1'

Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson won a title together with the Golden State Warriors, and they'll now team up in Miami with the Heat.

Ahead of their reunion season, Wiggins had high praise for the legendary sharpshooter.

"He's one of the most competitive people I played with," Wiggins said. "To have him on the squad is going to be amazing. He's going to fill the locker room with joy... He's one of one. He brings that championship mentality to the team and this is a year that we can do something special and he's someone that can be a big part of it."

After the Heat landed Giannis Antetokounmpo in a blockbuster trade earlier this summer, the team was still in desperate need of some shooting. With not much cap space to work with, Miami managed to bring in one of the best shooters of all time after he agreed to a buyout with the Dallas Mavericks.

Now, the Heat have a complete roster with Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo in the paint and Thompson and Wiggins on the wing. Whether Miami has enough to compete in a stacked Eastern Conference remains to be seen.
