The four time NBA champion and his wife, Savannah James, remain dedicated to the LeBron James’ Family Foundation and their education wing, the iPromise School. Ahead of the new season, the iPromise School has made a heartwarming update.LeBron James’ foundation opens up about what is important as it educates thousands of children across AkronA few days ago, LeBron James’ foundation’s education wing, the iPromise School took to its social media to post a bunch of images of children looking excited as they started the new school year.The caption of the post read as, “At IPS, our mornings always start with a Promise Circle. 💚 Before the school day gets going our students take a moment to check in, share their zone, and name a habit of promise they want to carry with them throughout the day.”The post added, “It’s a simple routine that gives everyone a chance to pause, connect, and get grounded before the day begins. Sometimes the best way to start the day is by checking in with yourself and with each other. 🫶🏽”Founded in 2018, LeBron James’ foundation’s education wing IPromise School has served thousands of students across the NBA legend’s hometown, Akron.LeBron James always had a vision to provide education to children coming from underprivileged backgrounds in OhioThe iPromise School provides quality education and opportunities in extra curricular activities for children coming from underprivileged families in Akron.A lot of the opportunities being provided to children in Akron comes from the experience LeBron James and his wife, Savannah James, had while they were growing up there.In many of his interviews, the 41 year old NBA icon LeBron James has often spoken and emphasised the importance of education among children and how it should always be prioritised.A few years ago, in an interview with ESPN, LeBron James had opened up about launching iPromise School as he said, “I do mean it. I can sit here and be at a loss for words, which I am now. This is my first time here, walking these hallways and seeing, when I was driving here, just the streets that I walked, some of the stores are still up when I was growing up.
